2008 El Salvador Mission Trip

Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church's Central America Mission Team is pleased to announce its tenth mission trip to Central America. The team will be going to El Salvador from Saturday, June 28 through Saturday, July 5, 2008. We will be working with the San Salvador affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and will be returning to San Jose Villaneuava. We will primarily be building homes; however, we will also be visiting schools and orphanages and having interaction with the local community.

If you are a team player, are willing to help with fund raising, are in good health, can do physical work in a hot and humid climate and want a life changing experience, this is the mission trip for you. Satisfaction for doing God's work is guaranteed! You do not need prior construction experience.

The number of team members is limited and quite a few persons have already indicated their desire to go. As soon as the volunteer mission team members are selected, other interested persons will be put on a waiting list.

For more information or to obtain a Volunteer Application Form, which must be completed by all prior and new team members, contact John Wagoner, Team Leader, at 419-865-1251 (work); 419-536-8274 (home) or 419-356-0822 (cell).

We can assure you this will be a life-changing experience.
